Ellis Erasmus KATWABAZE is the Deputy Managing Director in charge of the Credit and Controls Departments at Bank of Africa Ghana. Ellis is an accomplished banking executive with extensive experience in Credit risk management, business leadership, and banking operations across the Bank of Africa Group.
Prior to his current role at Bank of Africa Ghana, he served as General Manager, Credit and Control at Bank of Africa Uganda and Tanzania.
Earlier in his career, he held increasingly senior positions in banking, such as Head of Credit Analysis and Credit Risk Manager at Bank of Africa Uganda, as well as various credit and business management roles at DFCU Bank. His professional experience spans credit risk management, business analysis, portfolio oversight, operational excellence, and strategic leadership.
Mr. Katwebaze holds a bachelor's degree in Statistics from Makerere University, Uganda, and brings a strong track record in strategic leadership, risk management, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
